Class A CDL Truck Driver

SALARY RANGE & BENEFITS

Full-time position averaging 50 to 60 hours a week, Monthly salary averaging $4,500.00 -$5,000.00. We offer medical, dental, and vision. Eggleton trucking pays 50% of the employee’s basic medical plan.

QUALIFICATIONS/GUIDELINES

Driver should have at least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, a class A License, and must be 23 years of age.

 MVR Requirements

Driver’s MVR will be reviewed on an annual basis to assure driver’s stay within our insurance guidelines for acceptable moving violations, accidents and non-moving violations within the last 36 months period.

 Physical Demands

Must be able to lift-50 lbs., kneel, stoop, bend, sit, flexibility upper body, standing, crouching, reaching, carrying, clear speech, hearing/listening, near eye acuity, color perception.

 Equipment

Walking floor trailers/truck, tablet, cell phone, air scales.  

 EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

1.      Pre trip and post trip inspections daily

2.      Operate truck and trailer

3.      Operate an electronic logbook

4.      Consolidate daily paperwork

5.      Interact with customers

6.      Report equipment defects

7.      Follow the rules of the road

8.      Sweep out truck between load changes
